General

About the licensing program

What is the RCE national camp licensing program?

It's a partnership program for operators who want to run summer basketball day camps using the RCE curriculum, training, and operating systems. There are two partnership models — RCE-Branded and White-Label — each with a Launch tier and an Enterprise tier.

What's the difference between RCE-Branded and White-Label?

RCE-Branded partners operate under the RCE brand with limited RCE brand usage rights and RCE-branded marketing and website templates. White-Label is the premium model: partners maintain their own business brand while licensing approved RCE curriculum, operations manual, and editable templates. White-label partners do not receive ownership of RCE's underlying intellectual property.

Why is white-label positioned as the premium model?

White-label partners develop a fully differentiated brand identity in their market, command premium positioning, and own the local customer relationship. The trade-off is more responsibility for branding, customization, and quality control — which is why the investment is higher.

What are the proposed package prices?

RCE-Branded: Launch $25,000, Enterprise $50,000. White-Label: Launch $35,000, Enterprise $75,000. All pricing is proposed and subject to qualification, legal review, and a definitive written agreement.

Are the proposed renewal prices final?

No. Proposed annual renewal pricing is for planning only — RCE Launch $5,000/year, RCE Enterprise $10,000/year, White-Label Launch $7,500/year, White-Label Enterprise $15,000/year. Final renewal terms are subject to written agreement and depend on scope, support level, and performance.

Is this a franchise?

We do not represent the licensing program as a franchise, and nothing on this site should be interpreted as a franchise offering or as exempt from franchise or business opportunity laws. The RCE program is structured as a licensing partnership, and the final classification is subject to legal review and definitive written agreements.

Territory

Territory, market protection, and exclusivity

Do any of the packages grant automatic exclusivity?

No. No package — including White-Label Enterprise — grants automatic exclusivity. Any form of market protection or exclusive territory is only created through a definitive written agreement.

What's the difference between market protection and exclusive territory?

Market protection is a negotiated contractual limitation on specified competing licensing activity in an agreed geographic area. Exclusive territory rights are specifically defined contractual restrictions on granting certain competing licenses within an approved territory. Both are negotiated. Neither is automatic.

What does "priority territory evaluation" mean?

It means that White-Label Enterprise applicants get an accelerated review of their proposed market and the opportunity to negotiate exclusive territory rights. It does not reserve a territory or guarantee any specific outcome.

What is a Designated Market Area?

A Designated Market Area is a geographic area identified for evaluation or defined in an agreement. Identification alone does not create exclusivity. It becomes meaningful only when a written agreement defines its scope, the partner's rights within it, and the limits on competing activity.

Can I check whether my market is open before applying?

You can submit a territory availability inquiry, which starts a preliminary review. A review is not a reservation. Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a territory, grant exclusivity, or create contractual rights.

See Territory Availability for the full framework.

Application

How to apply

How do I apply?

Submit a licensing application at /licensing/apply/. The form takes about 10 minutes. We review every application and follow up within a few business days.

What happens after I submit an application?

Your application is reviewed for fit. Qualified applicants are invited to a discovery call to discuss your market, team, timing, and goals. After the call, we deliver a tailored proposal. Final terms — including any territory conversation — are subject to legal review and a definitive written agreement.

Do I have to pay to apply?

No. There is no fee to apply. Licensing fees are only collected after a definitive written agreement is signed. We do not collect licensing fees or accept payment through this website.

Can I apply for both RCE-Branded and White-Label?

Yes. Indicate your preferred model in the application. If you're not sure, select "Not sure yet" and we'll walk through the tradeoffs on the discovery call.

Operations & support

What you get, what you bring

What does RCE provide?

Depending on the model and tier, RCE provides the nine-week basketball curriculum, daily lesson plans, an operations manual, marketing templates, website templates, coach onboarding resources, parent communication templates, a player evaluation framework, training, and consulting. Enterprise tiers add multi-location frameworks, leadership training, on-site launch assistance, regional marketing, CRM implementation, and performance dashboards.

What does the partner provide?

Partners provide the local team, the facility, the day-to-day execution, and the customer relationships. RCE does not supply facilities, courts, coaching staff, or guaranteed customers under any tier.

How many approved locations can I operate?

Launch packages are for one approved camp location. Enterprise packages are for up to three approved locations. Adding additional locations beyond the approved scope is subject to a written amendment.

What kind of training and consulting is included?

Both Launch tiers include virtual launch training and scheduled consulting. Enterprise tiers add expanded leadership training, defined on-site launch assistance, performance consulting, and priority seasonal support. Specifics are defined in the definitive written agreement.

Do I get access to a partner portal?

A secure partner portal — covering curriculum library, daily lesson plans, coach training, operations manuals, marketing resources, registration resources, performance dashboards, and support requests — is being prepared. The protected curriculum is not publicly accessible while the portal is being implemented.
