Accessibility

Built to be usable by everyone.

We design the RCE Summer Basketball Day Camp website to be accessible to all visitors, including people who use assistive technologies. Here's our commitment, the standards we follow, and how to request help.

Our commitment

Accessibility is a baseline, not a feature.

We're committed to making this site usable by all visitors, including people with disabilities. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA as a working target and test for keyboard navigation, screen reader support, color contrast, and mobile usability.

What we do

Accessibility features on this site

  • Skip-to-content link on every page
  • Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks, and labels
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG AA across the site
  • Keyboard-navigable navigation, forms, and chat widget
  • Form fields with associated labels and clear error handling
  • Mobile-friendly layouts that work without horizontal scrolling
  • Resizable text without loss of content or functionality

Accommodations at the camp itself

If your child needs an accommodation to participate in the RCE Summer Basketball Day Camp — for example, related to mobility, learning, or a medical condition — please reach out before the first day of camp. We'll work with you to make participation as smooth as possible.

Tell us so we can fix it.

If something on the site is hard to use — for any reason — please let us know. Include the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We'll do our best to fix it quickly.
